KOMINPRO-In order to welcome the 17th milad, the Faculty of Medicine (FK) Unisba held Community Service (PKM) entitled “Preparation for Face-to-face Learning (PTM) for Parents and Teaching Staff at PAUD-SMA Level” which was held virtually through Zoom Meeting , Saturday (09/07).
The webinar, which was held in collaboration with Darul Hikam College as a partner, was filled with speakers from experts in their respective fields, namely dr. Fajar Awalia Yulianto, M. Epid. (Epidemiology), dr. Lisa Adhia Garina, SpA., MSi.Med. (Children’s Health), Dr. Noormartany, dr., Sp.PK., Msi. (Clinical Pathology), and dr. Purnomo, MKK (Occupational Health). In addition, this PKM was attended by ± 632 participants, most of whom were teachers from various cities in Indonesia, parents and invitees (lecturers, education staff, laboratory assistants, and others).
The Dean of FK Unisba, Prof. Dr. Nanan Sekarwana, dr., SpA(K)., MARS., said that this webinar is here to provide education through reviewing plans for implementing face-to-face learning for the safety of teachers and students as a consideration in preventing the transmission of COVID-19 infection.
According to him, this is because until now the increase in the number of cases of 12.8% of the total cases, is in the group of children who are also a group of students from PAUD to high school. “Therefore, it is necessary to consider health issues that must be considered in order to maintain the safety and health of teachers and students,” he said.***
